New member of our family! She's an albino!

So my friend puts on FB that she is getting rid of a mouse. She tagged me because most people know I am a pet fan. I was like "No way, mice stink". She couldn't find it a pet home so I called my friend who had a snake and he was glad to take it.

He couldn't pick it up for a few hours and in the mean time....

Kate fell in love. And the mouse was just as sweet back and all the kids protested that I couldn't feed him to a snake. Kate was able to get "Winter" out by herself and everything. So I decided it would be a good little play mate for her. And she doesn't stink actually. I am shocked.

Here are a few of my favorite sights this summer. (Um...I can't wait for school to start. Bo and KAte fight non stop. NON STOP. It is exhausting.)

Anyway....Bo is a dang good little puzzle doer. And he has been working on this one. I love it!!!!!!! (you know, in between spending tooooo much time on mind craft.)

Rhett. This kid is just a joy. And a pain but just a joy. He sure has struggle with acne. I finally put him on Acutane. It is clearing up and I am hoping he won't have scars. :( Anyway...he just has to be doing something all the time. He gets desperate for food and treats and has learned to just make them himself. So he figured out how to make Zucchini bread. He did a dang good job.

He didn't mix the wet ingredients first. Just through them all in. That is actually what I do anyway. It makes me smile because all the older kids love it when he cooks too. And he was so very sweet to decide all on his own to take it to a widow neighbor whom he waters grass for. Love him! He has always melted my heart a bit.

Kate got a cell phone! For FREE!

When I learn to play the guitar I am going to buy a dress like this (only with a top) and wear my hair like this and walk in the woods like this.

I love that! I like gypsy type looking stuff.

Our little friend is still crashing the party. If she doesn't come meow at the door I get a little worries!

Kate got her own cell phone! She is now accepting phone calls.

During our camping trip we made homemade ice cream in bags. When the directions say use sturdy freezer bags, do it. Because if not your ice cream tastes like salt. That happened to a few and I had to share my ice cream which was perfect. I pretended I was that mom who gave her piece of apple pie away and didn't care. That generous beautiful mom who didn't want that last slice. But in my head I was like ARGG! It was so good! You just put a bag inside of a bag with the right ingredients and you shake and shake. AWESOME!

We put crushed candy in and syrups. Its all Corey. He planned it all. He makes a good camp.

Ummm......How much stress can Jack Bauer take????? And drugs now too???? And he totally got his kid that job. Everyone knows it.

Nathan's crazy little bearded dragon "Spiro" eats A LOT. So the other day I was at the pet store and I spent like ten minutes petting the cute little humane society animals. I love them! There was one black dog which was so needing to come home with me. Black dogs have trouble finding homes, you know. And I loved all the cats. Kate got a new pet. I'll post about it tomorrow.

I am raising dog trainers and people trainers and strange bicyclists.

Having an intelligent dog is pretty fun.

One of my favorite things to do it to teach my kids about animals and spend time with them and their animals. It has always been important to me to have pets.

I have seen Brody's breed doing things on the dog shows like running through tubes and jumping through things, etc. So I told The boys we needed to teach him a routine.

We decided to walk the plank. I use to do that with my little dog growing up and I was so proud that She knew how to do it.

Brody was nervous for some reason (He could jump OVER it if he wanted!) but by the next day he had it down.

I loved watching the boys work with him and it is fun to try to figure out how to get this dog to do what we want him to.

Of course Kate cannot be left out. She pretends to be a dog ALL the time and wants to be pet. She will often lick us as well!
Nathan and I took turns "training" her to walk the plank.

The boys are doing all sorts of scout camp outs! Since we live close to our church I just let Nathan ride his bike. He had to bring it anyway for the camp out so why not!

It cracked me up to see him riding that way.

Off to the church!

I am one final away from being done with my math class. I enjoyed it so much. I love the kids I get to go to school with. All so sweet and fun.

Ummm....I finally decided I needed to watch 24. I have been renting them from the library. I like watching TV that way. You don't have to be left hanging from week to week.

I love Jack Bauer. I just can't help it. I like it when he uses his gun to steal a car and he says thank you. And I adore a soft spoken man. And he always talks so soft. Even when he is being tortured, or killing someone. And I like that he still called the X- Presidents wife "Mrs" the whole time he was dealing with that wicked gal. He is a very polite person even under the worst circumstances. Very cute.

Kate needs dentures!

Kate had to have ANOTHER tooth pulled. A second molar. Right next to the other one. So she will have a huge gap there. She had infection all in this molar also.

This girl is pretty brave though. She just handles it all including the shot.

This was the molar that already had a space savor attached to it. You can see it in x-ray.

Of course she does have to make sure they give her EVERYTHING she requests.

Gloves, gas with her choice of mask, glasses, cartoons, and a special blanket that she somehow knew was available.

Getting the shot. She was SOOOOOO good.

She seriously is a crack up. She knows exactly what she wants and she is GOING to get it!

Later when she was home she wanted to swim in our pool. I told her no. I thought it might be bad idea with open gum wound. But what do I know! I she wanted me to call the dentist. I told her she could. And she did! lol. Told them her name, asked if she could go in the pool, got her answer yes, and then was off.

She's funny.

Not much blogging going on. I'm just tired. of the heat. Of fighting children.

Hello, my old friend.

It's been about six months since I have seen your face. I decided today that I needed you again, back in my life. School is all but a mi...
