No vacation is decent without at least one good injury!

"The second saddest thing that happened" to Bo all day was this morning when he ran over his finger with a little wheel go cart thingy that was at the cousin's house. That first time it jut smooshed his finger a little but it hurt.

"The first saddest thing that ever happened" to Bo all day was this evening when he ran over his finger with a little wheel go cart thingy that was at the cousin's house. His entire finger nail was entirely lifted up probably over a ¼ of an inch. But still attached at the base. He cried and cried and flipped and flipped his finger.

We aren’t sure why he keeps putting his finger under the wheels of the go cart thingy!

Aunt Tracy is in the medical field and she was able to deal with his wound while  I held a wash cloth to his head and soothed him.

It's sort of insensitive to take a picture of injuries whilst the people are still bawling about them. So this was the best I could do. But that nail was so lifted up.

A few hours later..... Back on the little go cart thingy.

And 2015 would just not be right without a few selfies of your trophy finger.

Hahahhahahha

The next day Cousin Ellie/Wound Expert Guru by trade came and checked it out.

All relieved that no one was going to rip his nail off. Phew.

PHEW!

Bo had a great time plotting how he was going to tell everyone at the Aquarium that we were going to later that a shark bit his finger off.

When we got home  I took him to the Dr. (this morning) and he said to soak it in Epson salt three times a day. That the pressure was already relieved so we were good to go!

He wanted me to show you all that his finger was taken off.

While loading up to go home, Bo stuck his elbow in the front door while hanging to swing himself into the van trapezish style and Justine shut her door. On his elbow. It was a little hard. So he was injured there as well for a bit.
