You guys! I LOVE hiking! Go figure!

Hi. I ate sugar. I went nine day this time! And then I decided to have just one treat. I think it was ice cream. OH HOW I ADORE ICE CREAM. The problem is it is part of my fun time when I am in town with my kids. So I have to try not to do that and it is dang HARD.
Anyway. I ate my whole trip like a crazy person.

I came home from the trip and kept eating and I even drank pop every day. And I gained three pounds. I called my friend who seems to have one the food battle by going vegan. I called her while eating two brownies from the bakery.

I went to the "AA" meeting for food that is part of our churches addiction and recovery program. They just happened to be on step one. Honesty.

I'm pretty honest about the fact that I AM A MESS AND I CAN"T EAT JUST ONE.

I thought of a few other things I need to be honest about. I am sad. But I think one might very well be...I can't have one treat or I know I will be off the wagon for weeks.

I set myself a goal. I have set myself one million goals. But I set goals again. I am trying again. Today was my first clean eating day. ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So on our joyful and lovely trip....

The first day at the cousins house we had to go on a hike. You people KNOW I HATE hikes. I was raised South of  Denver and I likey the city.

But I knew I had to go becasue I knew it would be so beautiful. And it wasn't supposed to be too hard.

You guys!

I LIKE HIKING!!!!!

It was the most enjoyable little afternoon ever.

I think I like water. NO WAY not the water people can drown in. I get so freaked out about my kids drowning. But just like a creek to walk in when it is SUPER hot in Utah.
So we went to a hike at a place called Kanarraville Falls.

It is very close to the cousin's house.

Before we could go we had to stand in front of the porta potties for a group picture. (Great)

And the boys had to stand IN the porta potties for a picture before we started. ONLY TEENAGE BOYS could actually be persuaded to stand in the porta potty for a picture. And when there was liquid on the floor of one porta potty only one teenage boy can convince another teenage boy that it was water and okay to stand in. Ummm......

Anyways....

Starting the hike. Kate loves cousin Ethan and he was sweet enough to hold her hand for a bit.

I took a bazillion pictures (and some are my bil's). Here are a few highlights....

So this picture is amusing. Kate is SUCH a little "GO GETTER" girl. See her elbow???? I know that is to keep Bo at a distance. Kate is jealous becasue Bo and Macy are such buddies.

Okay....so then in the hike one has to climb up THIS!!!!.....

See that ladder???? I climbed up it! When it was time to go down I actually was on the verge of terrified. I really am scared of heights.

But you had to go up the ladder to get to the slide!

Kate on the slide...

Me on the slide!!!!

It felt a lot faster then it looks!

oh.... by the way. I am DONE with real water slides. I almost died on one this trip. I am too heavy to be on those suckers. I go too fast and it scares the beejeebies out of me.

And then I just had to stand under a water fall. Sometimes you just have to do those things.

It was a great day.

I LOVE THIS HAIR. Should I cut mine?????

Hello, my old friend.

It's been about six months since I have seen your face. I decided today that I needed you again, back in my life. School is all but a mi...
