In case you were wondering where all the talented children are living....I have hogged them all to myself

Have you ever noticed that talent runs in families and some kids, just have it all?

Well, that is the case in our family. We have some serious talent going on!

Thought I'd share.

Kate the monkey whisperer

Kassidy the professional faller down the stairs and get nasty bruises

Nathan the top notch writer out of bendies

I would have to say this one speaks for itself, wouldn't you?

My son can make a bearded dragon out of his hands... This one amazed me. Seriously.
Pretty good, eh?

Bo....Do I need to say more?

Bo and his great balancing act!

Appreciation for husband, Sunday, the 51st

When I was couponing I got all these free immunity booster vitamin C pills. I ran out three days ago and now I caught a stupid cold. Grr.

Corey asked me about three times today if I was feeling okay. That always feels nice.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!

A very important decision has finally been made. Once again. I have been stewing and researching over this decision but I have finally made my choice. Duh nu un Nuhh!!!!!

Kate will have a pig cake for her 3rd birthday. You know....as a tribute to her beloved pig.

Watching TV and having a little snuggle time with Pig.

I think Pig might just be a little like Calvin's "Hobbes". He comes alive when we aren't looking and is Kate's partner in crime.

Calliou was in a close race for the birthday cake but he is spoiled bratty and whiny I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Pig is loving and giving and a great source of comfort to Kate. Calliou just gives her for shallow bratty TV time.

Pigs love means so much more.

Good cake though!

Justine and Kate usually share a family birthday party since their birthdays are only two days apart. Justine hasn't decided what her cake will be yet although I think we just might go bowling!

Rhett stayed home from school sick today. I actually kinda liked it. I went back to bed and let him watch the little kids. He even cooked them (on the oven) a nice hot breakfast. Fried eggs! Impressive. Am I bad?

Here is the handsome guy in his new reading glasses. I was actually surprised he picked the most trendy and prominent pair that he could choose from. I thought he might prefer a wire pair that was less noticeable. but he went for these! He's stylin' now!

P.S....He told me not to put this picture on Face Book, but he didn't mention my blog... so I am still good,.... right?

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN THE WOODS WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING!!!!!!!!

I promised you a long time ago I would post pictures from Corey's trail camera....

Below is precisely why I hate camping.... aside from the three other major reasons....(No bathroom, no shower, no American Idol at night, Corey and I argue. Was that four?)

Moose will kill you. I am not even joking.

This one eyed monster could kill me just by looking at me...

This is just evil. I don't even know what it is. But there is something not right going on here.

Despite my fondness for animals, I don't enjoy what is lurking in the woods. One time I saw a deer up close and I thought it was a man in khaki pants and it FREAKED my out. One time a branch snagged my hair and I thought a bat landed on my head. One time I went hiking and Corey had to carry me home,... wasn't a pretty sight. One time I watched Oprah and she TERRIFIED me of cougars. TERRIFIED. Really, honestly, I am just happier (and safer) at home.

One time when I was a teenager my dad and I went on a ward camp out and we slept under the stars. I still remember him getting up and moving the car to block us in case anyone should back over us in the night. But we slept under the stars, just me and my dad. (And the whole rest of the ward. But they were in tents so it was just us who counted.) It was before I was smart enough to be scared of the mountains. And it was lovely. But that was then.

Anyways, if you think I am just crazy for being paranoid.... let's just take a little gander at the two following pictures.

Uh-huh. I think you all get my point.

Hello, my old friend.

It's been about six months since I have seen your face. I decided today that I needed you again, back in my life. School is all but a mi...
