Secret to happiness...found here!

A family in our community lost their baby girl. This young mom is trying her best to sort out her new life without her daughter. She decided to do a big service project. Check here to see what it is all about!

So I am so excited about next week because a few of my GNO friends and I have decided to get together and tie fleece blankets to donate to her cause. I had so much fun picking out fleece, albeit the store I went to had slim pickings. And then I went to my friend's house and saw the cute fleece she had picked and I just got super excited.

It feels dang good to do things for other people.

I know the secret to happiness. It is two fold. Be grateful, forget yourself and give. Is that three fold? I don't know but those are the keys to happiness.

Here is the fleece I picked. I don't know why, I know it is a little crazy looking, but I liked it (the back will be a gray to match some of the Peace symbols). I LOVED the warm tones to it. I am really into brown (see m&m post). Plus I though it might be good for a dad. So many things are made girlish, I just like this one.

And even if the Peace symbol is trendy and hippieish, peace is still welcome and a good thing to be had.

I just came across their story and then realized she is a student at BYU-i and is just a girl like I once was. Warning: Sometimes I wish I didn't read her story because it has broken my heart so.

Mary! Yay! If you like it then I know it is a good choice. You were always so cool.
