I fall a lot. As in... a lot.

I have a slipping, tripping, falling problem. I just do. I have long since excepted it, and there is likely no changing it.

The family all know it is an issue with me. I have finally trained them all that it is rude to laugh. They usually stifle it now long enough to find out if I am okay, and then they laugh. Which is still rude.

Corey usually yells at me when I fall. He does that though. It is weird. When someone gets hurt in the family, or falls, Corey yells their name. He isn't really trying to be mean. It is just his first reaction.

Lately my boys are the sweetest things in the world.

Over the period of one night which included a very strangely rainy, slushy day, and one freezing night, our whole city has become a sheet of glossy, beautiful..... ice. Ice spread across whole parking lots in areas. Very dangerous for people of the falling nature. Such as.....me.

So my sweetie boys have been right on the ball escorting me into the church, into the car, into the house, where ever I need to go, one of those little guys is trying to hold me up or offering me their elbow. They have been taking great pride in their "job". It is heaven to me since raising kind men is one of my ultimate goals.

I was very sad today when I went in town without my gentlemanly suitors. I was leaving my destination and.....wham. I fell. On ice so glossy I didn't even notice it.

No one was there to hold me up, yell at me, or even stifle a laugh. It was a lonely, pitiful little fall.

It made me all the more thankful for sons who care to hold their mom up. Falling or no falling, I am blessed.

Oh man - I walked to church Sunday and fell FOUR times! I also fell in the parking lot, but Nana was there to giggle. I have never fallen so many times in so short a span... getting rather sick of it! Next time, we should fall together. haha!!

Nancy Chamberlain... Rhett was such a gentleman yesterday! Holding the door for me and helping grandpa escort me in to the restaurant. Nathan was helping Katie. No one had to even ask them to help! Keep up the good work. Glad you weren't hurt!
